Restwell is proud to be a very environmentally-conscious company that does all it can to help maintain a healthy environment.
Restwell has created product lines that are not only of the highest quality but also help maintain a healthy environment.
Forests for Tomorrow
Our innovative Forests For Tomorrow Program is a ground-breaking partnership with the Ministry of Forest and Range.
In this day and age of mass production and mass consumption it is hard to find companies which take part in green initiatives and have a strong commitment to the environment; however, here at Restwell Sleep Products we have existing green practices and products that embody who we are as a company.
Restwell aggressively administers recycling programs whether it is in the corporate office or down on the manufacturing floor. We recycle 100% of our scrap cardboard, plastic, and wood which in turn eliminates the overwhelming amount of waste which consumes our eco system. In addition, all excess foam, fabric, and fiber from our quilting machines is compressed and turned into a variety of new goods such as pillows and dog beds.
The beds we produce also exemplify our commitment to the environment through the eco-friendly materials we use to manufacture them. For example, our ECOTEX® foam is derived from soy based polyols and this process minimizes the amount of petroleum used in the foam. With concern for the global environment, Restwell has also created product lines to diminish impact on the environment.
Our Novopure brand of mattresses which utilizes bamboo, cotton fabrics, and environmentally friendly foams is a perfect example of Restwell’s growing effort to be green. Another aspect of our mattresses which represents green initiatives is that we only manufacture all wood foundations. Restwell replenishes the wood resource that we use in our bases through our Forest For Tomorrow Program.
Restwell acknowledges the significance of being environmentally responsible and is continuously administering new programs and government partnerships which lower our carbon footprint.
Through our programs we help reduce landfill waste and give back to the environment through our innovative Forest For Tomorrow Program.
The Restwell Sustainable Partnership
Restwell has partnered with Ministry of Forest and Range to develop a tree program that allows us to plant more trees than we use each year. We value Mother Nature and have dedicated ourselves to replenish the wood resource we use each year, from the paper in our printers or wood in our bases we help restore the forest.
Our goal is to ensure the environment will continue to be sustainable for future generations to come.
Simple Sustainability. One Tree At A Time.

Not only do we help restore the eco-system, we help return life to areas that have been destroyed and encountered ecological devastation.

Restwell planted 8,900 trees in 2013. We hope to plant 50,000 trees by 2020. Help us reach our goal by purchasing a Restwell base.
Our planting was put on hold because bears nestled into our block and we waited for them to pass. We respect all wildlife and are excited to give the bears more trees to climb.
